After mentioning what He blessed David and his son Solomon (peace be upon them) with, Allah mentions what He blessed the people of Sheba with. The difference is that David and Solomon (peace be upon them) were thankful to Allah, but the people of Sheba were ungrateful to Him. He states:
In the dwellings where the tribe of Sheba lived, there was a clear sign of Allah's power and His favor on them, and the clear sign was two gardens: one on the right and the other on the left. We said to them: Eat of the provision of your Lord and thank Him for His favors. This is a pleasant city, and your Lord, Allah, is a forgiving Lord who absolves the sins of those who repent to Him.
